Shark Alley's painted collection is inspired by the faded, weathered painted wood of the English seaside and the sun-bleached colours of Mediterranean walls and doors.
Based on the characterful little wren, one of Britain's tiniest birds, this brooch is cut from warm-toned cherry wood and engraved with a stylised design inspired by the patterns of the feathers. It is hand painted in shades of duck egg blue and white, then individually hand finished to give it a rustic, vintage feel.
Like all Shark Alley brooches, the wren is light and easy to wear.
